The culinary operations at Jing Fong’s Upper West Side location is overseen by the restaurant’s team of highly skilled chefs. This marks the first expansion for the Chinatown institution, which first opened its doors in 1978 and then moved to its current location at 20 Elizabeth Street in the early 90s, where it still operates as a massive 20,000 square foot restaurant and banquet hall serving authentic Cantonese cuisine and one of New York’s liveliest dim sum brunches. This outpost continues to serve the traditional Cantonese cuisine it’s been long celebrated for, and offers its famed dim sum all day. The iconic and well-respected Jing Fong opens a second location in the Upper West Side of Manhattan Wednesday.
